These guys are incredible. Not just because they are very good-looking life saviors, but because they put so much effort into doing good! They are real-life heroes who save lives on a daily basis, and in their spare time, they raise money for charity. How great is that? For the past 29 years, Australian firefighters have been posing for an annual calendar, to raise money for various charities.
Since 1993, they have raised a total of $3.2 million dollars which were donated to charities like Australian Children’s Hospital Foundation, Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation burns units, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Mates For Mates, Royal Far West and Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors. And this year, for the first time, they started doing some charity work in the U.S. as well. They are teaming up with Greater Good Charities and directing all the sales of this year’s calendar into the Rescue Rebuild program. This will help renovate animal shelters, domestic violence shelters, as well as homeless shelters, and give a hand to mistreated pets and the people who care for them.
